Member Relationship Manager

The member relationship manager  will work closely with the president and CEO to manage relationships with member organizations.


Duties of the Member Relationship Manager:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with members and key personnel within member companies.
  • Highlighting all member benefits the organization offers.
  • Building a strong network between SME’s and the organization through special programs
  • Being an access point for SME’s to bring awareness of the issues they are facing to the organization for assistance
  • Engaging with members to encourage participation in new programs to build their business and relationships

Background of the Member Relationship Manager

  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build rapport with people
  • Sales experience and an organized approach to work could be an asset.
  • Hardworking with a strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience working as a client relationship manager or a track record of managing client/member relationships.
  • Strong computer and technical skills (Microsoft Office including PowerPoint)
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license


This full-time position will include a competitive base salary + commission and benefit package

Marketing Coordinator

The marketing coordinator position is a position to provide communications, marketing, events and administrative support to the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, Events & Enrichment the Communications and Marketing Coordinator will:

  • Assist with the development and implementation of a marketing and communications strategy for the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce
  • Maintain the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce social media platforms and website preparing and uploading content; updating digital platforms
  • Prepare media releases and articles as appropriate
  • Assist with day of event functions; including photography, video, and co-ordination of all visual presentations
  • Basic video editing
  • Co-ordinate mailing program
  • Responsible for co-ordinating and Chamber managed webinar program
  • Develop stakeholder database and identify strategies for engagement
  • Other project management and administrative support as required
  • Assist with Chamber programs and events as requested


Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, and work to deadline
  • Experience developing and implementing social media campaigns
  • Strong computer and technical skills (Microsoft Office including PowerPoint)
  • Must have strong organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to work well on a team and relate to others across multiple business functions
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license

Administrative Assistant

This Administrative Assistant part-time position provides support with handling some of the day-to-day operations of the organization.  Duties include providing all administrative support to the President & CEO.  The ideal candidate would be highly professional with the ability to communicate with board members, politicians, and high-level corporate representatives.



  • Answers and directs all internal and external phone calls.
  • Writes and distributes emails, correspondence memos, letters, forms, etc.
  • Plans, organizes and schedules program meetings, appointments, and calendar for President/CEO.
  • Takes detailed meeting minutes and files minutes accordingly.
  • Assists in the preparation of regularly scheduled internal and external reports.
  • Coordinates with outside systems (IT, telephone, Internet and other providers) to ensure prompt resolution of issues and continuous quality service.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all program information.
  • Coordinating internal meetings
  • Tracking inventory ie. office supplies
  • Assisting with special projects
  • Completing all other tasks as requested


  • Complete proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
