The Jr. Design & Application specialist will be involved in technical and mechanical hands-on projects within the operation. The position is required to do the following:

Office Activities
•    Support ongoing projects by Drafting 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD & SolidWorks Software.
•    Review project bill of material with shopfloor team and get the requisition generated for material purchase if required.
•    Learn & Understand fundamentals of air compression, oil lubricated & oil free air compressors, twin tower desiccant air dryers, blowers and all other products being manufactured at our facility.
•    Learn & Understand fundamentals of basic electrical & control panel building.
•    Support day to day office management activities.
•    Maintain ISO 9001-2015 system documentation.
•    Work on product/project pricing & update in the quickbooks system.
•    Active participation in marketing initiatives
o    Website administration - updates and 3rd party coordination

•    Strong communication skills (oral and written)
•    Ability to build/maintain professional relationships with customers and vendors
•    Positive and professional demeanor
•    Strong PC skills (Quick Books, MS-Office)
•    Team player in a fast-paced environment
•    Mechanical “hands on” experience is a definite asset
•    Fluent in English, French is a definite asset

Education
• Graduation from an accredited university or college (preferable mechanical or electrical/electronic)
